So Charlee is turning two this year (today actually!!) and Brandon and I wanted to get her something that she could use and kind of grow up with a little. I mean don’t get me wrong, I love getting the toddler toys and clothes and fun baby things but those are all things kids will never really remember. So I found this cute site that makes personalized things for kids. I found a little step stool that they paint and its cute and fantastic, and then I looked at the ridiculous price and realized WE COULD MAKE THAT!
So we did! We painted it and put cute little animals on it and then painted on her name.
We were a little nervous that she wouldn’t like it just because it wasn’t fun to play with. But she pulled it out of the bag and immediately wanted to stand on it.
I think its safe to say it was a GREAT present and she will be able to use it for the next couple of years. Don’t spend crazy amounts of money on something you could make yourself. It has more meaning when you make it anyways!
She loves it and uses it already brushing her teeth after bath time! Thanks again!!
